Supertags and Favourites

18+ only. This article discusses adult content and is intended for adult audiences.

Every booru site lets you search tags. adultgpt lets you keep them. Two features do the heavy lifting: supertags — your own named collections of tags that behave like a single tag — and favourites, a personal library of saved posts. Neither requires an account to use.

What is a supertag?

A supertag is a bundle of regular tags stored under one name. When you add a supertag to a search, all of its tags are applied at once, with their modifiers intact — includes stay includes, excludes stay excludes. In the suggestions it appears with its own type icon and a count showing how many tags the collection holds.

Supertags persist between visits, so they work as reusable presets: build once, one click forever.

Three supertags worth building today

  • The exclude list. All your - turn-offs in one collection. Add it to any search and they're filtered everywhere — a portable, shareable version of a blacklist. (Why both? See blacklists vs excludes.)
  • The fandom preset. A character plus your preferred format tags, e.g. +your_fav;-animated for stills only. Your ideal default search, one click away.
  • The quality floor. Combined with score sorting and a score filter, a supertag can encode "this character, stills, 50+ likes" as a single reusable unit.

How to create one

Build your tag list in the search bar exactly as you would for a normal search — modifiers included — then use the supertag dialog to save the active list under a name. You can create, edit and re-order supertags from the same dialog at any time, and they show up in autocomplete alongside regular tags afterwards.

Favourites: your post library

Like a post and it's saved to your favourites, browsable from the favourites page. Favourites are stored locally on your device — no account needed.

Want them on every device? Create a free adultgpt account and your favourites, supertags and settings are backed up to the cloud and restored on any browser where you log in. The account exists only for this backup — see the privacy page for exactly what is stored.

Why this matters

Search engines index the same public library for everyone. The differentiator is what you accumulate around it: your excludes, your presets, your collection. Supertags turn a throwaway search session into a growing toolkit — after a few weeks, your searches start where a new user ends.
