1. Who we are
adultgpt ("we", "the site") is a tag-based search engine for adult content. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. You must be 18 or older to use this site.
2. Data stored on your device (local)
Your preferences, favourites, tags, blacklists and settings are stored locally in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the cloud backup feature described below. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.
3. Account and cloud backup data
If you create an account, we store your email address and a cryptographic hash of your password (we never store the password itself). If you use the "Back Up Now" feature, the content you choose to upload (favourites and settings) is stored on our servers hosted by Cloudflare, associated with your account. You can restore or overwrite this data at any time; contact us to delete your account and all associated data.
4. Third-party services
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and API processing. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request metadata as part of serving the site (see Cloudflare's privacy policy).
- Advertising (ExoClick / magsrv) — we display ads provided by ExoClick. Advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies, and may collect your IP address and device information, to serve and measure ads. You can review ExoClick's privacy policy and manage your ad preferences via ExoClick's opt-out page.
- rule34.xxx API — search results and media are provided by third-party APIs. When you browse results, requests are relayed through our servers; your device loads media directly from the provider's CDN.
5. Cookies
We use browser storage strictly for essential functions (theme, preferences, age verification, session token). Advertising partners may set their own cookies as described in section 4. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential storage may degrade site functionality.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not collect precise location data.
- We do not send your email address or account information to advertising partners.
- We do not require personal identity documents.
7. Your rights (EEA/UK/California)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data associated with your account, and to object to or restrict processing. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Passwords are stored only as salted PBKDF2 hashes. All traffic is served over HTTPS.
